Candidate for Governor

Mark Fitzpatrick

Tell us about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.

My name is Mark Fitzpatrick, and I'm blessed to be happily married to my wonderful wife of 23 years, Sarah. Together, we have six incredible children: one adopted through a foster-to-adopt program in Anaheim, California, and five biological. Our kids range inage from 12 to 21 and they keep our home full of life, energy, and purpose as we raise them grounded in faith, family, and freedom.

At the core of who I am is my faith: I believe our U.S. Constitution is a divine gift from God, and that We the People have a sacred responsibility to be good stewards of it. I fear no man; only the Father, the Creator of all. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. Every morning, I wake up and pray, asking the Lord, "What would You have me do today?" That question guides my life, my family decisions, and now my call to step up and run for office. I'm running to protect the freedoms, traditional values, and way of life that drew us here, and that our children deserve to inherit and pass on.

I'm 48 years old and have lived in Idaho since 2018, when my family and I made the deliberate move here from California. We came seeking a state where our freedoms would be truly protected, away from overpopulation, rampant consumerism, leftist policies, and crushing taxes. In many ways, I feel like I've always been an Idahoan at heart; it just took me about 40 years to finally get here. We've put down deep roots in the Eagle area and the Treasure Valley, building our life and businesses while embracing the values that make Idaho special.

Currently, I am the owner of a restaurant / bar named “Old State Saloon” in Eagle. I also own a wedding venue nearby in the county area named “Stone Crossing.”  I am a real estate broker and a land developer, specializing in developing five-acre properties. I enjoy dividing larger pieces of land into five acres because it typically saves that land from a future of being subdivided into much smaller parcels.

Describe why you are running for this position. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?

I'm running for Governor of Idaho and my whole life has prepared me for this moment. For years, I've publicly called on God-fearing conservatives to step up, join the fight, and take back our government from weak leadership and corruption. When it became clear there were no real contenders willing to challenge Brad Little (who is a poor example of a Republican, to put it mildly) I realized I couldn't be a hypocrite. I had to follow my own advice. By stepping forward, I hope to inspire more patriots across Idaho and our great nation to run for office and restore principled leadership.

My qualifications are rooted in real-world experience, not career politics: 15 years in law enforcement (12 full-time as a police officer, 3 as reserve), where I learned to protect communities and enforce the law without apology. Serial entrepreneur: built businesses in international luxury marketing (overseeing $2.5B+ in real estate sales/marketing projects), real estate sales, real estate development (creating 5-acre small farm communities in Idaho to preserve rural character), and hospitality (owner of Old State Saloon and a wedding venue celebrating traditional values). Lifelong conservative raised in a Republican, law-enforcement family; unapologetic defender of faith, family, freedom, and the Constitution as a divine gift. Community leader who uses my platform to rally people around America First principles, call out RINOs, and push back against cultural decay, all with no fear of man, only fear of God.

My goals as governor are clear and bold: Be the clear leader of the nation’s Governors in populism. I have several ideas on how to be extremely communicative with The People, both educating them AND learning from them (listening). My leadership style in this way will undoubtedly be remarkable. Expose and root out evil and corruption in our government. Idaho must have actual transparency first. Shrink government dramatically: eliminate unnecessary programs, slash taxes, and deliver a much smaller state budget so Idahoans keep more of their money. Eliminate Democrat and RINO influence by inspiring and mobilizing the people to demand real conservative representation. Make Idaho richer and more powerful by responsibly using our abundant natural resources of timber, agriculture, mining, energy all while protecting private property rights and rural way of life. Secure our borders, end incentives for illegal immigration, defend God-given rights (life, liberty, 2A, religious freedom, parental rights), and ensure Idaho remains the last best place: free, faith-friendly, family-first, and prosperous. My governorship will be about stewardship. God has equipped me through trials, successes, failures, and conviction to lead Idaho forward. I'm ready to serve.

Candidate for Attorney General

Raul Labrador

Tell us about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.

I grew up in Puerto Rico and Las Vegas, Nevada, attended BYU, and moved to Idaho in 1996 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Law. My wife, Becca, a born-and-raised Idahoan, and I have lived in Boise and Eagle ever since, where we raised our five children. Before entering public service, I founded a law firm practicing immigration and criminal defense law. I served two terms in the Idaho House of Representatives, four terms in Congress representing Idaho's First Congressional District, co-founded the House Freedom Caucus, chaired the Idaho Republican Party, and now serve as your Attorney General.

Describe why you are running for this position. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?

I am running for re-election because the work is not finished. Over the past three years my office has taken on fights that other AGs avoided, winning significant victories at the U.S. Supreme Court that now protect states across the country. Idaho needed an AG who would fight aggressively instead of looking for the path of least resistance. That is what I have done, and it is what I will continue to do. My qualifications are that I am a licensed attorney with decades of legal experience, a former member of the House Judiciary Committee, and a sitting Attorney General who has delivered results. In my second term, I will continue defending Idaho's laws and protecting Idaho families.

Tell us about yourself and your family, how long you have lived in the area and your occupation.

The most important contribution I have made to society is as a mother of five and grandmother of eleven. Since 1981, my life has centered around faith, family, hard work, and community. Those values are not slogans — they guide every vote I cast and every position I take in public service. Raised in an agricultural community and later becoming a business owner, I understand firsthand the challenges facing working families, small businesses, farmers, and rural Idaho. My life experience is practical, tested, and lived.

My guiding principles center on fiercely defending God-given and constitutional rights — particularly the Second Amendment, the sanctity of life from conception to natural death, and the preservation of individual liberty for future generations. I am committed to protecting unborn children, opposing radical agendas targeting youth, championing strong families independent from excessive government intervention, upholding fiscal sanity, and advancing constitutional governance.

Government exists to protect God-given rights — not restrict them. State sovereignty must be defended. Every vote in the Legislature should be a vote for liberty.

Describe why you are running for this position. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?

I am running to defend, protect, and restore the freedoms that have gradually been diminished. As an elected official, I believe it is my responsibility to be a faithful steward of taxpayer dollars. There is no such thing as “free money.” Every dollar in state coffers represents the hard work of Idaho families. True freedom cannot exist when citizens are burdened with excessive taxation or when debt is passed on to future generations.

I have lived in Mountain Home for a total of 19 years.  I am originally from New Smyrna Beach Florida and moved to Mountain Home in 2004 when the Air Force brought us here, I left for 3 years in 2009 when my active duty husband and I received orders overseas and came back in 2012 when my husband and I split up.  I have called Mountain Home home ever since.  I am an Air Force veteran, while I was active duty, I was a C-130 engine mechanic.

I graduated Cum Laude from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a minor in management in 2014.  I am currently married to an amazing Navy Reservist and veteran who stepped up and raised our two children as his own, he is so supportive with just about everything I throw at him.  I have a son and daughter, my daughter currently works for the County in the maintenance department as a custodian and my son is in his senior year of high school looking to carry on the family legacy by possibly joining the military.

I have worked for Elmore County for 11 years in June.  During that time I have held and mastered numerous positions under the Clerks purview to prepare myself one day for the County Clerk position.  For four years I worked in the District Court as the civil and criminal clerk.  In 2019 I moved to the Elections Department as an Elections Specialist. The end of 2020 I was asked by the County Clerk to become her Deputy Recorder, a position I held until late 2023.  In 2023 I became the County Comptroller and have held that position ever since.  In January of 2025 the County Clerk appointed me as her Chief Deputy Clerk.  Currently I hold the position of County Comptroller and Chief Deputy Clerk.

Describe why you are running for this position. What are your qualifications? What are your goals?

I am running for County Clerk because I am passionate about serving our community and will give everything to the position and to the citizens of Elmore County.  I have been employed with Elmore County for 11 years, I have worked in the District Court, so I have an understanding of court procedures.  I have conducted many elections from start to finish and have personally trained my successors.  Even though my primary positionis not elections I am still very involved in the elections process to this day.

As the current County Comptroller I help oversee and prepare the county budget each year.  I oversee and work with our outside auditor to ensure compliance with State, local and federal laws.  I conduct audits for our Vessel and Snowmobile departments and report the findings to the Idaho Department of Parks & Recreation.  I prepare the daily deposits of our revenue based departments for the Treasurer to take to the bank each day.  I reconcile and balance numerous departments within the county each month to the County Treasurer.  Each month I prepare revenue and expenditure reports for the Commissioners and department heads.  I ensure the State and Taxing Districts are paid their portion of taxes paid each month.

As Chief Deputy Clerk, I act as the County Clerk when the County Clerk is not available, I maintain employee time cards, coordinate coverage in our office, approve time off and have conducted interviews and participated in hiring of new employees in our department.  My goals are to ensure election security and transparency, a balanced budget and honest leadership each Elmore County citizen can trust.
